For nearly 10 years, I have served as the volunteer Communications Director for Social Documentary Network (SDN), the leading global documentary community and platform for documentary photography. I manage social media, email marketing, and events. SDN has hosted gallery exhibitions and events. I have served as a juror on Calls for Entries. I have also helped build communications materials for documentary photographers and participated in portfolio reviews. I am an Editor of ZEKE Magazine, the leading print and digital documentary photography magazine. I traveled to Bosnia and Kosovo to document the wars there, contributing text to two traveling photo documentary exhibitions Zones of Separation: The Struggle for a Multiethnic Bosnia and Reconstructing Kosovo.

LiveZEKE at Photoville
I was a curator/producer of LiveZEKE, an innovative photography exhibition at the Photoville festival in Brooklyn. Viewers were able to engage directly with subjects from the South Caucasus region of a documentary photography exhibition on display in the gallery through live video interaction. For the first time, documentary subjects became active participants by engaging with the audience directly in real-time.
